Privacy policy
The free tools run on your device and send nothing. Buying the report sends numbers, never a photo. This page lists every place your data goes, and how to have it removed.
The free tools
The calculator, the body type quiz, the Kibbe-inspired quiz and the photo analyzer all run entirely in your browser. Your measurements, answers and photo are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else — the one exception is the anonymous analytics event described below, which records which of the six shapes a tool returned, never the numbers behind it. The photo analyzer downloads its model to your browser and analyzes the photo there — the photo is never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone, and you can confirm that in your browser's network inspector.
Your results are saved in your browser's local storage so the paid report can build on them. That storage stays on your device; we cannot read it. Clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, which sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your page views, your approximate location and device, and a small set of events of our own: which tool you ran, which of the six shapes or thirteen Kibbe types it returned, why the photo analyzer turned a photo down, and how many of the four tools you have results for. Your measurements, your quiz answers and your photo are never part of that — only the verdict category. We do not run advertising, and we have not turned on Google's ad-personalization features. If you buy the report while Analytics is running in your browser, our server also tells Google Analytics that the purchase happened: the price, Stripe's order reference, and the Analytics ID your browser already carries, so the sale is counted with your visit. Never your email, and never your report link. If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and any content blocker stops it too — the site works identically either way.
Apart from Google Analytics we load no third-party scripts, and fonts are served from our own domain. Your report link is kept out of Analytics deliberately: the page address is rewritten to /report/(id) before anything is sent, so the unlisted link that opens your report never reaches Google.
When you buy the report
Buying the Body Shape Report is the one time information leaves your device. When you click through to checkout we receive:
- Your four tape measurements and their unit, if you used the calculator
- Your quiz answers, if you used either quiz
- Five width figures computed by the photo analyzer — never the photo itself
- Which tool you started from, and the price paid
- The email address you enter at checkout, which Stripe passes to us so we can send you your report link
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers; Stripe's own privacy policy covers that step. No account is created and no password exists.
To rate-limit checkout we hash your IP address with a secret; the hash is kept briefly and the address itself is not stored by us.
Who processes it
Generating a report means sending your numbers to a few services on our behalf. Each receives only what it needs for its step:
- Stripe — payment, receipt, and the email address you give at checkout.
- Supabase — the database where your inputs, your email and the finished report are stored.
- Anthropic — your numbers and the verdicts computed from them are sent to the Claude API to write the report's text. Not your email, not a photo.
- Google — the lookbook illustrations are generated by the Gemini API from a description of your shape category. No measurements, no email, no photo, and never a likeness of anyone.
- Cloudflare — the report's PDF and illustrations are stored in a private bucket, and the single "your report is ready" email is sent through Cloudflare's email service.
- Google Analytics — page views, the anonymous usage events described above, and the record of a purchase. It receives no measurements, no answers, no photo, no email, and not your report link.
- Vercel and Railway — the hosts that run the site and the PDF generator. Like every host, they keep short-lived server logs.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your report lives at an unlisted link that only you hold, and we keep it so that link keeps working. If a purchase is refunded, the report page is taken down and stops being served.
Your email address is used once, to send you the link, and to answer you if you write to us. It is not added to any list.
Your rights
Write to contact@bodyshapereport.com from the address you used at checkout to have your report and everything stored with it deleted, to get a copy of what we hold, or to ask anything else. Deletion is permanent and the report link stops working. Whatever the law where you live grants you — access, correction, deletion, portability, objection — applies here, and the email address is how to exercise it.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Who we are
The Body Shape Report is published by Known by One, LLC, a Delaware company, which is the data controller for anything described on this page. Changes to this policy are dated at the top. See also the terms of service and about page.
